It’s Rheged Forty Farms Fair this coming weekend – Saturday 5 July. Grab your gang and come and join us for the best event of the year.
There’s something rather magical about Rheged; you always gain a sense of Narnia, a hidden magical place full of intrigue and corners that tease your curiosity. Every square inch of this beautiful place will inspire your hearts and minds.
And there’s more…
This wonderful place re-awakens to its purpose when the Kendal Farmers Market gang rock up to the Forty Farms Fair with their gorgeous stalls, which sit comfortably within this perfect setting. It’s a gathering of crafters, creative mood makers and northern food producers.
This month is extra special for us all at Lovingly Artisan; we are on the cusp of harvest with Eden Yard, five crops, Ancient, Heirlooms and Heritage grains, hovering for harvest and awaiting all we want them to achieve – mill, bake and feed.
Heading to Rheged? Well, so is Aidan Monks.
Aidan, alongside other guest speakers, will share lots of great news and many creative tales. Acknowledged for his generosity, enthusiasm, and endless passion for sourdough and baking, whether at home or commercially.
During his talk, he will share his top ten best baking tips and techniques,
why sourdough and ancient grains are becoming increasingly crucial to the approaches to how we bake, and how you should feed your family.
If you’re an enthusiastic bread baker, join Aidan at Rheged at 11 am this weekend for 40 minutes of everything you need and want to know about bread baking – it will be great.
And before you go, don’t forget to swing by our bread truck and collect your weekend goodies, such as sourdough bread, scrummy pastries, and a steaming coffee. Make it a date.
