Bunny hunts in the garden under blue skies and lots of lovely sunshine – (yes, do you remember that lovely yellow blob in the sky?) Well, let’s start praying now for some beautiful weather. We don’t mind a few Simpson clouds dotted about but only a few please.
Hot Cross Buns and Winter Tarn Butter
Hot Cross Buns for breakfast, a generous spread of Winter Tarn Dairy Butter, and your favourite jam – Sour Cherry must be the ultimate treat. Another Easter treat could be our lovely nutty Malted Barley Sourdough topped with a little Hollins Honey from Kendal Farmers Market – super good for you and super delicious – always a winner here!
Scrumptious bites
Lots of family fun, bunting hung from the trees, Easter bunny trails around the garden and scrumptious bites, including a Dark Chocolate Malt & Orange Sourdough with a little ice cream or clotted cream, or maybe both. Go on – live the dream! Easter’s a fond favourite of mine; many happy memories created and now it’s time to create some new ones.
Kendal Farmers Market – Good Friday
We’re all here and there throughout the Bank Holiday weekend. Kendal Farmers Market on Good Friday, where the lovely Florence (our bread truck) will be bursting with lots of tasty delights. We’ll even dress Florence up for the occasion with her favourite bunting. How exciting! Feeling the vibe? Join us at Kendal Farmers Market on Good Friday to ‘hop start’ your Easter weekend of fun and then don’t forget to swing by our bakery at either Alty (our urban bakery) or Kendal and pick up your Hot Cross Buns, Grissini, Focaccia and Sourdough for your weekend of family fun.
