Awards & Easter Last Orders
Hooray, hooray, hooray, you hear us cheer from the oven doors. Two cracking pieces of news in one week; note to self – buy a lottery ticket as we might be on a roll…
Firstly, we are in the finals for the Farm Shop & Deli Retail Awards. We are incredibly proud of our team; this is such a prestigious event, one of the events we love, adore, and find truly inspirational. We always gather new ideas to inspire you, our loving tribe. We’re all about the kitchen and cooking up a feast with our sourdough loaves.
And if life couldn’t get any better, then this happens – drum roll…
We won Food Producers of the Year Award. Yep, this is a total dance-around the oven moment and has to be one of the most sought-after awards for Cumbrian food producers. Our amazing neighbour – Wagtail Pies was also a finalist. Steve’s pies are legendary! If you haven’t already discovered these, then you need too and you’re in for a real treat.
So what are our Easter Baking Bunnies up to? We hear you cheer from your kitchen stoves.
We’re open on Good Friday and Florence our bread truck will be rocking up at the Kendal Farmers Market on Friday 29th, last order for nationwide delivery is on the 28th March. The ovens will be roaring all weekend, baking lots of scrumptious hot cross buns and Easter treats. Spiced Apple Sourdough is on our line up and is great toasted with a little butter and makes the perfect sausage sandwich. And don’t forget our new Northern Bliss-cuits, great with cheese – the perfect oaty snack.
If you just want to put your feet up, or maybe have a pyjamas day, then let us help you with a little home delivery. Get your orders in by the 21st of March and our bakery bunnies will help create an Easter full of ‘hoppiness.’
We just want to send you a big hug and thank you for all your kindness, support, encouragement, and friendship. You queue, you are patient, you wear big smiles and you’re playful. You’re always willing to try our new creations, including our recently developed Northern Bliss-cuits, a chunk of Rye Berry and our very scrumptious Bear Claws. You are as adventurous as us and always up for it and that’s what we love about you.
We have lots of lovely plans for the summer, as the Hot Cross ‘Bunnies’ disappear, and we create something new. Exciting, however, we can’t tell you too much just now. Keep checking our email flyers as we’ll certainly be shouting about it when the time comes.
