Once upon a time, I was a sourdough loaf; I’ve now transformed into a Marmalade & Ginger Sourdough Bake. Once upon a time, I was a speciality sourdough; now I’m a double-roasted Sourdough Cracker. Once upon a time, I was a wholegrain loaf, now I’m Sourdough Crumbs.
So why do we do this?
Apart from adoring and saving our gorgeous planet, and making the most of our treasured surplus sourdough. The traditional technique of adding breadcrumbs to sourdough was discovered many moons ago. The addition of breadcrumbs softens the crumb and gives incredible flavour a real boost, whilst having a positive impact on the loaves’ keeping qualities.
Marmalade & Ginger Sourdough Bake
You may have already tried our heavenly Marmalade & Ginger Sourdough Bake; if you haven’t, you must! Even for those who favour all things savoury, you won’t be able to resist a slice of this marvellous delicacy. All those light, crumbly textures are made from sourdough breadcrumbs, giving new life to something rather divine. Go on, give it a whirl, you’ll love it.
Sourdough Crackers
Crunchy, crispy, perfect for quashing those salty cravings. Our dainty sourdough crackers are legendary in Altrincham Market, the birthplace of this irresistible treat.
