Westmorland Show – 10& 11 September 2025

It’s show time! Grab your wellies, wax jacket, and pencil us in on 10 & 11 September for the Westmorland County Show. No need to pack your picnic parcels, every little yummy munch can be found within the food hall and beyond. 

Located on the fringes of the Lake District, the Westmorland County Agricultural Show, accessible from the motorway, is a calendar event must for cattle breeders, crafters of all styles, and artisan bakers. 

The Westmorland Show Food Hall

Since 1999, the Westmorland Show Food Hall has been the must-attend event for every farming and food lover across our country. Many travel from all corners of the good lands, including Cornwall, Cheshire, Scotland, Yorkshire and yes, Kendal too.

Our Lovingly Artisan bread store crew will be making the food hall their home for two days. The bunting will be up, the fairy lights twinkling, and the loaves will be wafting enticing smells and heavenly flavours across the marquee. 

If you’re a lover of all things bread and sourdough, then why not swing by our stand at the show to learn more about The Northern Grain? It’s for bakers of all styles, cheese mongers, and brewers, as well as all artisans.

Come along and meet Aidan Monks and Eden Yard – it’s free! The Northern Grain Community is in its infancy, and it’s about sharing knowledge, information, and meeting up throughout the year. We want to kick-start our first meet-up at the Westmorland County Show. 

Lunchtime treats

Come for a natter, come for the banter, come for the bread! We’ll have lots of lunchtime treats, Lovingly Artisan Focaccia, Tomato and Cheese Cruffin, Grissini accompanied with a chunk of cheese from Mrs Kirkham’s Lancashire Cheese stall.
