Bread of the moment Danish Rugbrød is just one of the fabulous loaves that you can now buy at our new mini bread shop at Booths in Kendal.
We’re thrilled to have landed in the foodie epicentre of Kendal’s high street, where great Northern grocer Booths has been promoting and celebrating local produce since 1937. We’ll be holding tasting events throughout November, so do come and try our award-winning Rugbrød, heritage-grain sourdoughs and heavenly focaccia…
Holey wow!
A piece of warm focaccia is the bread equivalent of a cashmere-covered hot-water bottle. Even its name speaks of cosiness: it comes from focus, Italian for ‘hearth’.
When fresh from the oven in our Bread Stores, our focaccia is irresistible, glistening with olive oil and giving off its heavenly herby aroma. But if you can’t visit us at Plumgarths or Altrincham Market – or buy from our stands at Tebay Services or Booths, Kendal – you can still enjoy our sensational squares of dimply bread.
They’re now available via nationwide mail order through our online shop at lovinglyartisan.com, alongside our full range of sourdough loaves and pastries. Choose from garlic & herb, cheese & garlic or juicy Kalamata olive, and we’ll wrap them carefully on the morning they’re baked to reach you next day via overnight courier. To restore their just-baked scent and softness you can flash them in a hot oven for a few minutes – or just grab them straight from the delivery box and get stuck in.
