Howdy folks. Are you feeling red, white and blue yet? We couldn’t wait any longer to hang the Royal bunting in our Bread Stores and fill our counters with gorgeous treats to inspire celebration.
To help you get ready for the Coronation weekend, PRE-ORDERS ARE NOW OPEN in our Bread Stores. Just pop in to Plumgarths or Altrincham – or give us a ring on 01539 751935 – to reserve your favourite loaves and bank-holiday-weekend treats.
Our bread elves will be waiting at their collection stations from Tuesday to Friday 2-5 May to hand over your Lovingly wrapped breads and pastries – all hand-shaped and freshly baked on the day of collection. You can also order online to have fresh loaves, ciabattas, saffron buns, croissants and more delivered anywhere in the UK.
Lovingly Artisan bakes freeze beautifully, so why not squirrel some away and enjoy the sweet satisfaction of getting organised? See our website or ask the elves for storage advice.

Orange is the new brown
We hope The King shares his late mother’s fondness for marmalade sandwiches (although only Paddington would be audacious enough to find out). No marmalade lover could resist the celebration loaf we’ve created to mark this Coronation Spring. Dark Chocolate Malt with Orange is exquisitely good when sliced straight from the loaf – soft-crumbed, ribboned with brewers’ chocolate malt and generously dotted with dark Belgian chocolate. But a slick of marmalade finishes it off perfectly, bringing out the zesty kick of the Mediterranean orange peel we fold into our dough. Kendal Farmers goes Red, White and Blue
We’ll be pulling out all the stops at Kendal Farmers’ Market next week to celebrate our countryside-loving King. As Prince of Wales, Charles has been a longstanding supporter of British food and farming; some of our fellow stallholders have had the honour of meeting him during one of his many visits to Cumbria. The Kendal Farmers’ Market family wants to say a huge thank you to The King and wish him a long and glorious reign. So do swing by Kendal’s Market Place from 9.30am on Friday 28 April to enjoy some fabulous food and festivity.
