Kirkby Lonsdale Market Day Gossip
We are bursting to share the hot gossip of the week…!
The Lovingly Artisan bakery crew are buzzing with excitement. We have longed to get our bread truck on to Kirkby Lonsdale Market for quite some time…
…And now we are thrilled to share they are giving us a go. Naturally, we will be on our best behaviour. Aprons ironed, loaves lovingly baked to perfection, with taste bud teasing focaccias on the counters.
Plenty of delicious pastries will be in the tasting tins – little bites of temptation. All things ideal for dipping into your cappuccinos from the groovy coffee cart within the square.
Come & see us! Circle the date in your diaries. Tell your mates and your mate’s mates – on Thursday, 17th of August, the Lovingly Artisan Bread Truck comes to Kirkby!
It’s not all about us, though... The market has a fantastic selection of traders from a beautiful fruit & veg stall to cheese and our favourite wine stall Provino, who have incredible Italian wines. You’ll find Gourmet Mushrooms – a kitchen cupboard essential, jewellery designers, beautifully crafted wooden bowls, and even Fell Dog leads with everything your four-legged best pal deserves when exploring the Cumbria fells.
We’d love for you to join us on Thursday, 17th August, come and get weekend ready in Kirkby Lonsdale.
If leaping along to Kirkby Lonsdale isn’t your vibe, we can come to you! Can you take any more good news?
Way up north, the creative crew of Westmorland Services have waved a magical wand over the Truckstop at Junction 38. You will now find a pit stop of basket filling delight.
Everything a hectic household needs. From racks of practical-ness like Heinz beans and other quick and easy sourdough toppings like Wild & Fruitful jams, and Aidan’s favourite Wild & Fruitful tomato sauce, Aidan’s a raving fan!
Here’s our 3(&)8 reasons to visit J38 Truckstop.
Let’s start with 3 reasons for Junction 38 –
- Your visits support the locals, the nice folks that produce and bake in your beloved Cumbria. Every visit is a nod to the future of our villages and the people within them.
- Nothing has had to travel far. Lovingly Artisan bakes everything in a planet-loving, wood-fired oven in Kendal using organic and British flour.
- Friendships will be formed. Connections and conversations made. You’re becoming a part of something bigger than all of us. It’s all about community spirit, belonging, and family, not just being Cumbrian. It’s way bigger; it’s the regard we all have for the lands we farm, and the guardians of our landscapes – farmers, millers, cheese makers, butchers and bakers. North, south, east and west – you’re making climate changes with all that you pop in a basket. Good choices for the future of our planet and the happiness of our countries.
