Us Cumbrian folk are really lucky… We have the infamous Tebay services on our doorstep, farmers markets, cute artisan producers and bakeries, and now we have a sense of it all under one roof, a petrol station roof – at Junction 38 Truckstop. Brought to you from the fantastic folk at Tebay Services.
There is no better way of living than living the wholesome way, artisan style. If you’re travelling and exploring in your fancy planet-loving motors, steer by the new swanky Junction 38 just off the M6 motorway. You’re in for a surprise, it’s a real food-loving treat!
Junction 38, we hear you cheer, is that not just the truckers best kept secret stop? Yep, it used to be, but now the cat’s out of the bag… It’s the ideal destination for travellers of all kinds.
With a groovy coffee pit stop – serving Carvetii Coffee (ideally with a Lovingly Artisan cinnamon twist or croissant on the side) You can find fast food at its finest. The pastry is legendary, and our Grissini is munchingly moreish.
If you are more of a savoury flavour guy or gal, we bake daily Sourdough Focaccia’s and award-winning sourdoughs for all types of taste buds.
Think land to larder foods, with a rather stylish wine selection. On trend in every way, Cumbrian groceries and Lovingly Artisan sourdough make for the ideal not-so-corner shop-shop.
Experience a little bit of Cumbria as you fill your tanks.
Have we caught your curiosity? If you’re intrigued, call by our Lovingly Artisan Bread Truck on 8th August. We’ll be hosting a sourdough tasting session from 11.30am until all the crumbs are eaten.
