Celebrating Sourdough September with Altrincham Market

Sourdoughing September with Altrincham Market

Our second favourite month of the year is #SourdoughSeptember, and for all of the right reasons: to celebrate real bread, bread with an honest crust, made slow and with organic grain, using methods that nurture your gut health, immunity and well-being.

Sourdough is far from a fad; it’s a way of life, especially for those seeking a healthier way, with no nasties included, just organic flour, salt and Lake District water moulded by hands that love what they create.

(And in case you were wondering… our favourite month of the year has to be December, ho-ho-ho to the 25th…)

Let’s get back to Sourdough September. We are kick-starting our celebration with the inspirational and award-winning Altrincham Market, our official second home.

If Altrincham’s on your hit list, pencil in a visit to see us on 2nd of  Sourdoughing September.

Ancient grain sourdoughs
Our bread counters will be bursting with ancient grain sourdoughs, wholegrains, speciality loaves, and lots of buzz and banter. Our new Northumberland Rye will be on taste; it’s one of the finest loaves we have ever created.

Our Bread Truck & its fairy lights are coming to Altrincham town, creating a little circus of bread activities.

Give away – we will be giving away Lovingly Artisans sourdough starter, just bring along a clean jam jar.
Taste away – the bread counters, inside and out, will be bursting with tasters. Come and treat your taste buds.
Chatting away – Aidan Monks will answer, fix, and solve your sourdough challenges.

Looking for lunch and brunch? Navigate your taste buds around Market House with Tender Cow, Rubens, Pico’s Tacos, Honest Crust and the legendary Great North Pie Co.

A grand day out, northern style – your four-legged friends & kiddies will love a wander around the indoor market, with the likes of trend-setting Joe & Co Denim, Swank, Fire Station Square Pottery, Mayfly jewellery, a new guy with groovy beard grooming oils & many more. There isn’t enough time to list them all!

So, pop a visit to Lovingly Artisan’s Bread Truck at Altrincham Market on the 2nd of September into your diary, hearts and minds.
