Those that know me well know I love and adore Christmas, am a hopeless romantic, a believer in Father Christmas, and yes, Elf’s do live under my Christmas tree! Generally, one furry, four-legged border terrier enjoys the tree’s fragrance. And the sparkle of the lights on the tree. Our Wesley finds his spot each year. What about you?

Last year for all of us was far from average, and this year let’s celebrate. The high street is open, your local favourite lovely stores will be bursting with gorgeous goodies. We intend to inspire you with sourdough as much as possible this Christmas. A few years ago, I pledged only to shop local. Luckily for me, my local is Kendal and Altrincham, to towns with incredible inspirational high street stores. Shops ran by independents, family businesses like us who have sailed the storms of the pandemic, and all the other challenges currently within our path.
