Really wanted to reach out and give some feedback regarding a visit to your Kendal store.
My partner and I stumbled across your shop on 30th September (I think) whilst popping to the farm shop next door. We were delighted to be greeted by a very sweet lady who was very enthusiastic and welcoming. I didn’t catch her name sadly but she wore some funky glasses! Her warm attitude was so inviting!
Sadly we were leaving the Lakes the next day so were not planning to get a whole sourdough loaf, however we did purchase two pastries, a butter knife and some jam (all of which amazing!). As she was bagging these items for us, she also popped in a loaf of the bread we had been discussing and gifted it to us.
Both myself and my partner were so grateful for her hospitality, friendliness and of course her gift! Frankly I made us a little emotional, we had been nervous to visit the lakes given the past 18 months but our brief visit to your shop was so comforting.
We would certainly recommend your bread and your shop to all our friends and family and will definitely make sure to visit at the beginning of our trip next time so we can indulge in more of the delicious sourdough!
