Hello sourdough pizza lovers 

Excellent sourdough pizza needs homemade tasty tomato sauce. If you love your pizza, you will adore this sauce!

Ingredients – You market day shopping list

800g (approx.) of delicious tinned tomatoes – (we buy ours from Little Window Deli)

Small jar of Anchovies 

Small jar of Rose Harissa paste

1 x stick of celery, finely diced

1 x Red onion, finely diced

Splash of olive oil

Seasoning to taste

1. Heat a splash of olive oil, with your finely chopped onion and celery with a pinch of salt & pepper – sweat the ingredients until soft and golden, in a medium size pan.
2. Now add your secret weapons;

• • Pour in your tinned tomatoes
  • A teaspoon of rose harissa sauce
  • 6 Anchovies (You can add more if you’re a fan) 
  • Season to taste

1. Now blend together and store in a lidded jar – you are now pizza ready!
