Kendal Food & Folk Festival – Feast-ival
Whether you’re enjoying having a dip in the lake or shading yourself under a tree, we have to say we are loving the weather here in the Lake District.
Longer evenings with banter around the BBQ and maybe a sneaky glass of wine on a school night… (or is that just us?) We love visualising you munching your way through your favourite loaves in the sun. For us, Kalamata Olive sourdough is sunshine bliss, have it simply dipped in olive oil or use for mopping up after beautiful roasted fish. Ciabatta rolls make the best garlic bread, and toasted Cheese & Chilli sourdough works wonderfully with salads.
If we’re honest, there isn’t enough days in the week for all the feasts we have in mind…
Hanging out
Pop on your sun hat and get into the summer mood next weekend. Flip-flop your way towards Kendal Folk & Food Festival where you will find us alongside friends from Kendal Farmers Market. It will also be the first official outing for our new Lovingly Artisan Bread Truck!

We adore our little bread stores and all that unfolds within, mainly doing our utmost for you, our treasured customers. We have lots of new loaves being developed this summer, and we’re already getting rather giddy about them and their characteristics – we can’t wait to share them with you.

Just to give you a heads up – you will find us at Rheged on the 22nd of July for a special Kendal Farmers Market. We had a brilliant time there last year so we look forward to seeing lots of you there again this year!
