Rheged Filling Station

Our Lovingly loaves are heading north!

Look out for us at Rheged, near Penrith, where we’re now delivering our freshly baked sourdoughs, pastries, focaccias and more to the Filling Station. We’re delighted to have our own little bread world amid all the local and artisan goodies in the shop next to the petrol forecourt.

They’re hand-picked by the same team that runs the Farmshop at Tebay Services, where our Lovingly Artisan breads are already delighting hungry travellers. Rheged is just off the M6 at J40, a perfect place to discover us if you live in the Eden Valley, North Cumbria or North-West Lakes.

What else is heading north – How to eat good Bread with Aidan Monks

As part of the Forty Farms Fair at Rheged, award-winning baker Aidan Monks of Lovingly Artisan debunks the myth that bread is ‘bad’, explaining why real sourdough bread is a nourishing staple that belongs at the centre of the table.

Exploring the benefits of natural slow-fermentation techniques, Aidan also introduces the British-grown organic heritage-grain flours that have inspired him to bake breads that are good for the tummy, good for the soil and good for the soul.
