Who’s got the Sourdough baking bug?
What did you do during lockdown? I found myself envious of all those people wild swimming and learning to paddleboard, however I filled my time with one of the things that I find the most fascinating… Sourdough #fermentation.
Our downtime was devoted to helping others pursue their home baking dreams in our Baking Club, with Aidan Monks and Dean Fletcher helping all master the art of baking sourdough. So many people got the bug. Did YOU?
Was your interest in sourdough driven by a sheer determination to feed the family far healthier bread? Or simply because you wanted to do something for you, learn a new skill, discover new knowledge, which motivated your day. Perhaps your new hobby even gave those lockdown days some meaning and purpose. So many joined the gang of people “learning more about sourdough.” It travelled right across all regions.
