We hope you’ve enjoyed a wonderful Christmas and New Year’s celebrations with your loved ones, and that you’ve saved a little room for exploring, perhaps our new wholemeal Barber sourdough.

Our bakery doors will swing open early on Saturday, 3rd January, and once again the aroma of freshly baked bread will drift out through the courtyard and over the fells. And then, as normal, on Monday, the 5 January 2026

So, pull on your woolly hats and gloves, lace up your boots, wrap up warm, and make your way over the fell to our gorgeous bakery. Our lovely team will be ready to fill your rucksacks with fresh treats for the week ahead.

Our counters will be brimming with delicious nibbles: Roasted Garlic & Tomato Focaccia, Kalamata Olive Grissini, and, of course, our beautiful Baguettes, all perfect for scooping soups.
