Best Speciality Bread Product in the Baking Industry Awards.

The sound of Champagne corks popping…

Excuse us while we polish our trophy (it’s ever so shiny!) We’re just back from London, where our Malted Barley sourdough tin loaf won one of the most prestigious prizes in the bakery world – Best Speciality Bread Product in the Baking Industry Awards. To say we’re

OVER THE MOON to get this honour would be an understatement, because we’re so proud of our Malted Barley loaf. It’s made using malted brewers’ barley from Warminster Maltings, the oldest traditional maltings in England – a super ingredient that takes the flavour, texture and goodness of this hard-working hero bread up to 11. It has already won ‘Britain’s Best Wholegrain’ in the Britain’s Best Loaf contest and, we don’t mind telling you, it’s getting rather bigheaded…

Come and try it in our Bread Stores at Kendal and Altrincham or order online from lovinglyartisan.com

We’re going to Booths!

Bread tidings of great joy! We’re launching a mini Lovingly Artisan bread shop in Booths, Kendal, next week, selling our baguettes, focaccias and full range of heritage-grain sourdoughs – including the ‘Best in Britain’ Malted Barley tin. It’s a real privilege to be joining this great Northern grocer – a family-owned business with a 175-year history – and sharing our Lovingly loaves with its local food-loving customers.

We’ll be holding tasting events throughout November, so do come over, have a try and say hello next time you pop in for your shopping.

Taste of the town

Kendal’s Market Place will be bursting with goodness and goodies from 9am this Friday morning (28 October) as the monthly Kendal Farmers’ Market rolls into town. Join us and more than 30 of this region’s best farmers, gardeners, makers, bakers, brewers, smokers and honey harvesters, who’ll be sharing and selling the exceptional food and drink that they craft with their own hands and soil. Our Lovingly stall will be laden with fresh sourdough loaves, baguettes, buttery breakfast pastries and irresistible focaccias. Prepare to be inspired x
