You may think we have far too many awards, however, we are determined to keep nudging forward, pushing boundaries, and challenging ourselves, all by teasing our taste buds and creating daily temptations.

This year, the Easter Bunny came early for our bakers…

… our Dark Chocolate Malt & Orange Sourdough won Britain’s Best Flavoured Loaf. How groovy is this? It’s the ultimate alternative Easter egg for the discerning. Pop it under the grill, add a little butter and enjoy! Or maybe indulge with a dollop of clotted cream or ice cream – go on, after all it’s Easter.

Dark Chocolate Malt & Orange Sourdough

This Easter, we’ll be swinging open our doors on Good Friday and Saturday.Sunday we’ll be closed and we’ll mainly be munching on chocolate bunnies with our feet up for a good old-fashioned rest. Monday will be business as normal.

During the weekend, our counters will be bursting with lots of delicious yummies including our scrumptious Easter Hot Cross Buns. These lovelies make an amazing fell walking goody and are also epic toasted with jam, however, don’t leave it too late, as folk will be heading North for their Easter celebrations, and we don’t want anyone to be disappointed!

So what’s happening this Easter Weekend?

It’s all happening down in the neighbourhood of Burneside. Hands up to those who love a great Easter Egg Hunt? Well, here’s your chance to enjoy a family fun day with the kiddies, this coming Saturday.

Grab your baskets and head to Burneside Cricket Club between 11 am and

3 pm, where there will be an Easter Egg hunt, Easter games, crafting, food and drink and all monies raised will help fund the Burneside Playground Project.

Our bread store doors will be open early providing you with an opportunity to fill your baskets full of the good stuff and lots of delicious yummies.
