Dark Chocolate Malt with Mediterranean Orange. Fragranced with Mediterranean orange peel, studded with Belgian chocolate and enriched with the natural sweetness of brewers’ chocolate malt, this glamorous little tin loaf was made for long and luxurious weekends.

Created with malt from Warminster Maltings, the traditional producer of the malted barley grain that gives our Malted Barley Sourdough its award-winning nutty deliciousness.

This soft-crusted beauty could hold its own on the top tier of the grandest afternoon tea. But it also turns a cuppa into a mini celebration, filling the room with a zesty chocolate aroma as soon as it’s sliced.

Perfect for: Breakfast, brunching and midnight munching,  gently toasted and spread with butter and a little spread of Hawkshead Relish Five Fruits Marmalade.

Our sourdough is lovingly made with our thirty-year-old starter created by Aidan Monks and moulded by gentle hands.

All of our products are dairy free and suitable for vegan diets except for: Croissant, Pain au Chocolat, Saffron Bun, Cheese & Garlic Focaccia, Cheese & Marmite Sourdough, Cheese & Chilli Sourdough.

Storage & Freezing

Keep well-wrapped in the wax-lined bag provided (but please don’t keep it in the fridge). Eat within 4 days of purchase. For best results when freezing, pack each item separately in a size-appropriate freezer bag: our specially made wax-lined paper bags are perfect. We recommend freezing sourdough loaves on their sides to maintain their shape and save freezer space. Defrost naturally at room temperature in the wax-lined bag. Pastries and focaccias love a quick flash in a hot oven to restore their just-baked softness.
