Hello Kendal Farmers Market loving folks,
Firstly on behalf of all of us, a big thank you for coming to the first of many Kendal Food & Folk Festivals. We had a blast – life on Finkle Street was good, yet we must admit we rather love our trusty market square.
Can we let you into a little secret? We had a rather nice time popping an extra market day into the month! So pencil us in, tell your neighbours, knock on a few doors and ring the church bells; because we will be back in the marketplace on Friday 30th June for our monthly Farmers Market. Our marketplace is a special place to exchange recipes, maybe share a little cheese mongering banter, get your bacon for your weekend butties and perhaps a little beef or chicken for your Sunday roasting. It’s a feast–ival every time at Kendal Farmers Market.
Those lovely folks from Lovingly Artisan are doing now doing a little coffee alongside all of your sourdough favourites. So why don’t you pick up a coffee, some loaves and some beautiful wildflowers for home from Black Horse Flowers and they last ages and more importantly look amazing.
We’ve all of your favourites – even a cheeky vino to kick start the weekend, my only advice is to bring a bigger basket because you will be inspired!
