It’s all about thinking green, and being innovative in our approach to serving you as best as possible, with mother earth sitting at the forefront of our minds.
When we started to brainstorm how our online bread store would function, we instantly debated how we could ensure that the boxes that the bread needed to travel within were as diverse as possible in its usage. We didn’t want to design a box that the bread would simply travel in only to end its life in recycling.
We wanted to create a packaging box with a real purpose. Our grand idea – wouldn’t it be fantastic if the box could become your “bread bin?”’
The ultimate sourdough bread bin is created for those short on kitchen space. If you are ordering a general level of loaves through the online bread store, all your loaves will arrive in the Lovingly Artisan bread bin box. One box, two roles.
Our objective is to have as little impact on the planet as possible, giving genuine care and attention to how we parcel and the role the parcel plays in your home.
We wanted our delivery box to be multifunctional, selecting compressed, recycled card, with added strength, strong enough for dispatch and pretty enough for the kitchens of those we mail to. We had the bread bins designed so they didn’t command too much kitchen workspace. We devoted time to the ancient grain illustration, believing if the box were pretty enough, it would simply become something else within the home, from a bread bin to recipe and magazine storage. This sleek box is large enough for four loaves and small enough to fit within an average delivery system. Our Lovingly Artisan bread boxes have travelled to celebrate birthdays, honeymoons, wedding anniversaries and valentines.
We created a Valentine’s Breakfast In Bed Box collaborating with Hawkshead Relish, a like-minded local family business that produces fantastic jam.
The Breakfast in Bed Box includes our Pain de Campagne Sourdough, Saffron Buns and Cherry & Prosecco Jam. This new introduction has since celebrated Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Christmas Eve. It’s a lovely cheer up a treat.
This then inspired the additional launch of the Mini-break Box launch for all those staycationing this year. We wanted to create a special Mini-break bread experience for all those holidaying in the UK this summer. Our Mini-break Box has something for everyone.
Carefully selected loaves with your every meal in mind. Emmer is a beautiful breakfast and brunch loaf, large enough to travel through a mini-break vacation. With speciality loaves such as Cheese & Chilli Sourdough designed to spice up a meal to an epic all-rounded Spiced Apple Sourdough which is delicious with jam, yet also exceptional with cheese for picnicking or midnight snacking!
