For so many, The Westmorland Showhttps://westmorlandshow.co.uk/ is a highlight of the year. It’s a moment to pause, pop on your favourite wellies, catch up with your mates, and make new ones. Cumbrians from all corners of the borders gather, and we do too!

Wednesday 13th & Thursday 14th September – County Show Ground, Crooklands from 8.00 am – 6.00pm

You will find the Lovingly Artisan Bread Store crew in the Food Hall, with a feast of sourdoughs, pastries, and much much more. It’s an incredible day for food lovers, cheese makers, butchers and bakers!

When you have the munchies and you’re in need of a little pick me up – head to our stand and work your way through the crusts of our lovingly made sourdoughs (which are all made with organic grains and the most essential ingredient of all, love). 

This grand event is a great excuse for grazing from dawn till dusk. From livestock to show jumping, crafts and hundreds of trade stands where you can shop til you drop! The Food Hall is the perfect point to stop and stock up on your favourites. As far as we’re concerned you can never have enough biscuit tins full of Grasmere Gingerbread (Aidan’s favourite) or mid-week feasting over a plate of Mrs Kirkhams Lancashire Cheese (in Catherine’s case) with a generous slice of Northern Rye alongside. Happiness is found on a plate full of your favourites on a school night – and all because you came to the fabulous Westmorland Show! If we’re lucky lots of parcels of Lovingly Artisan loaves will find new homes in your bread bins!

And for our NEW Kirkby Lonsdale pals, we’re sorry we’re going to miss you this Thursday whilst we’re at the Westmorland Show, but we promise, after many sleeps and bakes, to be back in your lovely square on Thursday 21st of September – bright and breezy!
