We couldn’t do it without you
It’s all go in our bakery and Bread Stores this week as we count down the moments until the last bread-shopping second before Christmas (Christmas Eve, 2pm!)
The excitement and joy of this special season makes us feel extra grateful for the love and support of our Lovingly Artisan community. This past year has been full of curveballs for all of us, and as a small family business we appreciate every sale, every kindness and every encouragement more than ever.
So a heartfelt thank you to our treasured customers North and South, who travel to our Bread Stores, order from our website and trust us to deliver your daily bread to every corner of the British Isles. We never take your custom or loyalty for granted and we feel privileged that you put our loaves on your tables.
Hip-hopping hooray for our talented bakers, who treat our dough with such loving care. They get up at dawn, or bake through the starlit night, manning a temperamental beast of a wood-fired oven through freeze, frost and heatwave.
Love to our incredible Bread Store crew, their smiles always beaming bright, even at 7am on dark, cold mornings when they can’t even feel their fingertips.
A special salute to Barry, our marvellous man in the van, braving the motorways and the back roads of Manchester to deliver your daily bread.
Respect to our millers, Gilchesters Organics and Matthews Cotswold Flour. Your grains are our magic ingredients and we love working with you and learning from you.
Group hug for our Kendal Farmers’ Market family. What a special Cumbrian food community we have created, heading together into 2023 with bold and delicious plans.
And cheers to all our foodie friends and stockists in Cumbria and Manchester, and the epic feasteries at Altrincham Market House. You inspire us with your talent, creativity and true Northern hospitality.
