All our breads are special. But we know many of you have a treasured place in your hearts for our Spiced Apple loaf. When you’ve set your sights on this cinnamon-scented beauty, with its soft chunks of Bramley apple and sprinkling of sultanas, no other loaf will quite do.

We haven’t changed the recipe, just the shape. It’s perfect for cold-cut sandwiches, Cumberland sausage butties, fruity eggy bread and our favourite: simple buttered toast – there’s nothing like the toffee-apple scent that fills your kitchen when Spiced Apple is gently grilling in the toaster.

We’re back on the road to Beetham Nurseries this weekend to take part in its first Apple Weekend food & drink market. Two days of delicious events on 8-9 October include apple tastings, apple talks and an apple ID clinic; there’s also live music and children’s activities. We’ll be setting up stall amid all the gorgeous plants and selling our full range of loaves, buns, breadsticks and pastries – including the sensational Spiced Apple Sourdough (see above).
